This week, Brian Williams and NBC News aired back to back specials, Inside The Obama White House, that gave viewers an inside look at how the government really works.
From a fast food run with the president to closed door meetings with the cabinet, Brian Williams captured it all. The crew showed not only what was happening in the White House but conducted several interviews with Obama and his staff providing a full picture of what a day in the White House is really like.
NBC news brought a crew of more than 30 people into the White House to capture the first family’s every move. In total, they captured 150 hours of footage. “There’s stuff we’ve never seen of how the White House operates,” Williams said. “We were pretty stunned at how much we were able to record and how natural events seemed to be.”
