A word of advice to John Edwards
March 16, 2008 · Print This Article
To endorse Hillary Clinton, over any other remaining candidate, after your many monologues about the clean break we need in Washington will ruin your political future and dissolve your credibility. Do the right thing… don’t endorse Hillary.

By endorsing Sen. Clinton, you are implicitly agreeing with her tactics in this campaign. These tactics include elevating the Republican nominee above a fellow Democratic, race-baiting, scare tactics, disrespecting the voters in several states, and numerous distortions and misrepresentations that stretch what is acceptable, even in a political campaign. You will also be saying that it is acceptable for the Convention to overturn the will of the people, as is the most likely scenario for Sen. Clinton to get the nomination. This is not the John Edwards I thought I knew and voted for in 2004.
Go ahead and endorse Hillary John. We all know that there isn’t a snowballs chance in hell that the average American voter is NOT going to vote for an extremely liberal black man with a Muslim name and an Islamic background. And now that white Americans are finding out his mentor and spiritual adviser for the past 20 years has been Louis Farrakhan II, his chances are even slimmer. Do the right thing John and endorse Hillary.
Paul, are you saying that the average American is ignorant?
