Another Hillary drive-by carried out by Geraldine Ferraro

Geraldine Ferraro, 1984 VP running mate to Walter Mondale, made some comments yesterday claiming that Barack Obama would not be where he is today if he was not black.  Somehow she doesn’t consider this a racist statement and actually played the gender card later in the day saying that the Obama campaign was attacking her because she is white… again, another non-racist play by an Obama surrogate?  This comment by Ferraro is consistent with the pattern of behavior coming out of the Clinton camp since the campaign began… Have a campaign agent throw the bean ball and then let Hillary run out to the mound to keep the aggressor from getting ejected from the game.  Her parsed explainations ring shallow, yet she always plays the role of the unaware candidate that really didn’t know her people were going to do that… yeah right.
